Nestled on 340 acres of Virginia’s beautiful countryside, our resort offers a variety of ways to connect with nature and explore the great outdoors. Join a recreation team member for a 45-minute moderately paced hike (ages 12+) through our serene woodlands and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Guided hikes are available daily at 3:00 pm, departing from our Fitness Center.

For a gentler start to your day, enjoy a 30-minute morning stroll around the property to awaken your senses and take in the beauty of your surroundings. Resort Walks are available daily at 8:30 am, departing from the Fitness Center. This easy walk is perfect for all skill levels and offers a chance to learn more about the resort and the local area.

Make the most of our expansive outdoor space with a self-guided birdwatching experience. For younger children, the daily Scavenger Hunt at the Equestrian Center (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) is a fun way to explore. Visit the friendly horses in their home and see how many clues you can uncover!
