A celebrated work of modern architecture, The Inn was originally designed in 1987 to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Its spacious rooms feature dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows that invite the outdoors in, creating a true connection to the river, woodlands, and gardens beyond.

Every stay includes complimentary access to Middleton Place, where winding pathways lead through 110 acres of landscaped gardens first envisioned in 1741, as well as the House Museum, stable yards, and Eliza’s House, an African American freedman’s dwelling that shares essential stories of the site’s history.
