A Championship Legacy
With roots dating back to 1972, the Cognizant Classic has become a celebrated fixture on the PGA TOUR. Formerly known as The Honda Classic, the tournament moved to its permanent home at PGA National Resort in 2007. Played each spring on the revered Champion Course, this prestigious event has seen champions like Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, and Adam Scott tackle its legendary layout. Now under the title sponsorship of Cognizant, the tournament continues its tradition of excellence, benefiting the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
