A Glance Back to Past Champions

During the incredible sponsorship from Valspar over the past 10 years, the tournament has continued to grow and evolve. Surprisingly, despite its Florida setting, a native Floridian has yet to clinch victory at the event. Many winners, including Paul Casey who triumphed in 2018 and 2019, have lauded the challenging Copperhead, describing it as one of the best on the Tour and particularly noteworthy for its unique layout, requiring constant adjustments from players due to its demanding nature.

Copperhead Course: A Legendary Challenge

Innisbrook's Copperhead Course is renowned for its challenging layout and it ranked as the 7th most difficult on the PGA Tour for the 2022-23 season. Designed by Larry Packard, the par-71 track spans nearly 7,300 yards with Bermuda grass fairways and greens designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. And, then there is the Snake Pit. The course’s last three holes are among the most difficult on Tour, with the par-4 16th hole, dubbed "The Moccasin," considered the most difficult. It will likely be where the tournament is won or lost on Sunday.

Valspar Weekend: Revel, Relax, and Dine

Among a variety of activations, this year’s attendees can unwind at the Valspar Live concert featuring Cole Swindell on March 23 at 6:30 pm. Accessible with a Saturday ticket or credential, it will take place on the Osprey Driving Range. Throughout the week, also enjoy the newly reimagined Packard’s Steakhouse at the Copperhead Course clubhouse, which offers premium steaks and lobster tail in a remodeled interior dining room, with the option to enjoy drinks and cigars on the outdoor terrace.
