Carla Carroll’s passion for hospitality began at Georgia Southern University, where she earned her degree in Tourism and Commercial Recreation in 2001. She launched her career with an internship at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, before joining Old Overton Country Club in Alabama as Director of Aquatics and Tennis Pro Shop Manager, where she led youth programs and special events. Her journey then took her to Destin, Florida, where she played a pivotal role in developing the wedding and special events industry for WaterColor Inn & Resort under Noble House Hotels & Resorts and The St. Joe Company. After seven years at WaterColor, she continued with Noble House for Kona Kai Resort & Spa in San Diego.

In 2014, Carla returned to her home state of Georgia to serve as National Sales Manager for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. Three years later, she joined Salamander Collection, where she has spent nearly eight years as Director of Global Sales. In this role, she leads brand ambassador efforts for the Southeast and West Coast markets, helping to drive awareness and revenue for Salamander’s distinctive portfolio of luxury properties.

At Salamander Collection, Steven Lewis leads sales development throughout the Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions, specializing in incentive house accounts. With over 15 years of experience in industry sales, Steven previously held pivotal roles in group sales for resorts and urban independent properties and collections. Steven holds a specialized Associate Degree in Golf Management and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

April Hays is the Director of Global Group Sales for Salamander Collection, overseeing the Northeast U.S. and Canadian markets. She represents Salamander Collection’s portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts, delivering exceptional experiences for group clients. With nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality sales, April has held key roles at prestigious brands such as Belmond, Hyatt, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. April is passionate about building lasting partnerships and crafting memorable client experiences; she is based just outside New York City.

With over 45 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales, Doug Camp brings a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for curating exceptional group experiences. As Director of Sales for Salamander Middleburg, Doug is dedicated to driving group business and meetings, leveraging his extensive network and expertise to create seamless and memorable events for clients. Doug's career includes an impressive tenure with some of the most renowned luxury properties in the country. He spent 20 years at Hershey Resorts in Hershey, PA, where he honed his expertise in sales and guest relations. He then transitioned to Keswick Hall in Charlottesville, VA, leading sales efforts for four years. His journey continued in Washington, DC, where he held key sales leadership roles at The Hay-Adams, The Madison, and The St. Regis.

For the past eight years, Doug has been an integral part of the Salamander team in Middleburg, Virginia, helping elevate the brand’s presence in the luxury market. His deep industry knowledge, commitment to client service, and strategic approach to group sales make him an asset to Salamander Collection. Doug is passionate about building lasting relationships and delivering extraordinary hospitality experiences, ensuring every event exceeds expectations.

Her career includes leadership positions with some of the world’s most recognized hotel brands, where she specialized in group sales, leisure, and international markets. At Innisbrook, Rachel is passionate about showcasing the resort’s unique offerings, from championship golf and meeting venues to its renowned guest hospitality, while fostering meaningful relationships with clients and partners to position Innisbrook as a premier destination for meetings and events. When she’s not working, Rachel embraces Florida’s coastal lifestyle, enjoying time on the water, boating with her family, and exploring the region’s beautiful barrier islands.

A native South Carolinian, Collin Carter joins Hotel Bennett after spending four years at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. Following his time in operational management, he held the title of Sales Manager and was a key player in the resort’s growing popularity. Collin studied Hospitality Management at the University of South Carolina, specializing in Hotel Development.

Rachel Frost is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing. Rachel has successfully driven revenue growth across all segments and implemented creative marketing strategies throughout her career starting in resorts (Hyatt Regency Newport Beach) to convention hotels (Grand Hyatt Washington) to luxury (Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.).  Since joining the Hotel Bennett team in 2019, Rachel and the sales team's unwavering commitment have achieved record-breaking results and fostered a culture of excellence.

Sharon is passionate about relationship building and strategic growth. She thrives on mentoring and developing teams, fostering a culture of excellence. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a Soccer and Track & Field enthusiast who also enjoys travelling, cooking and entertaining.

Briana Lilja joined the Aspen Meadows Resort team in 2024 and has been in the Aspen market since 2013. She started her career as the Summer Event Intern at The Little Nell and quickly moved into catering and group sales. She has a deep understanding of the Aspen Institute and long-standing relationship with programs who meet annually in Aspen. She lives in the Vail Valley with her husband and son.

Steven has been at PGA National Resort for four years. In his role as Director of Group Sales, Steven works and collaborates with Philippe, the Director of Sales & Marketing and the sales team. Steven is takes on a strategic management style for both reactive and proactive sales efforts. Steven shares the responsibility for achieving group revenue goals and guest satisfaction.

Prior to joining PGA Steven worked as Director of Group Sales at W Fort Lauderdale from 2009 to 2021. Before that, Steven worked at The Boca Raton, Conrad Miami and The Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
