- What attracted you to this property or what was your first impression of this property?
- My introduction was through artist renderings that Prem shared back when Salamander Middleburg was just a dream. Right from the outset, I was captivated and eagerly anticipated witnessing and being a part of the transformation from concept into reality!
- What makes you passionate about the hospitality industry?
- I am very fortunate to be given the opportunity to create within an art form that offers experiences and enjoyment through both visual and gustatory senses. My passion is fueled by the joy of sharing this with our guests and witnessing their excitement about what my team and I have to offer.
- Whats been one of the most inspirational moments youve experienced in your career so far?
- My most memorable achievement on my list is undoubtedly my first Food Network competition win. It tops my list because at the conclusion of the show I proposed to my now wife, Nicole, now celebrating a decade of marriage. Also significant is when Ms. Johnson affixed the Forbes 5-Star pin to my jacket after years of dedicated pursuit-a milestone that holds a special place at the top of my accomplishments.
- whats one thing most people dont know about you?
- I was a member of the 4-H beef club when I was young (10-16 years old) and raised my own small herd of cattle.
- What are some of your favorite hobbies?
- I love just being outdoors, working on projects, even if it is to do yardwork or other chores.
- In your opinion, where is the best spot to visit at the resort and why?
- The best spot to visit at Salamander Middleburg is the living room during the holidays because of the tree and holiday decorations.
- What travel destination is on your bucket list?
- Bordeaux, France

- A goal I have is to start my own line of chocolates.
